We did breakfast and I finished my devotions and then Sweet Sammy asked to go to the hot tub. So the kids and I went down, the Schmidts took a walk on the beach and pier and Scott stayed upstairs nursing a headache.
We decided to use up some of the food in the house so we ate snacks and leftovers for lunch. I took my hair out and then laid down for a nap while the others played Trouble and Sorry.
Scott returned from bring Schmidts to the airport just as I was getting out of bed. He immediately headed to bed with an arsenal of meds. I took the dog for a walk and then prepped dinner - we ate in again tonight.
After Scott came out, we decided a family movie night was in order. So we prepped up the Lorax and snuggled in. At the halfway point, we switched kids and snuggled some more.
It was good... so good!
BTW, Todd and Annie made it home safely and on time. We are so glad that they decided to join us. Seriously, no one else would have been able to give us the gift they did. Sweet time with our kids. A personalized ceremony. Fun, love and laughter. Ugh. We are just so glad it was them!
