The Motorhome

In 2014, we purchased a Fleetwood Discovery 40G.  It was one of the only models that we found that had a bunk layout that we thought would work.  We had several sleep overs in our driveway and spent one weekend on it in Petoskey, before our first road trip in the summer of 2014.

This is a stock photo of the floor plan.  Our unit has a king bed and a U-shaped dinette.

The view from the front, facing back and then facing forward.

I absolutely LOVE the kitchen... oven / microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge and freezer, and plenty of storage.  It really has all the comforts of my kitchen at home.

The dinette and couch sit on the passenger side and are part of the slide out.  Both fold into sleeping space if needed to give us bedding for 8.

We chose this coach primarily because of the bunk space.  By closing the doors, you create a second bedroom just for the kids.  This gives us access to the bath and our bedroom without disturbing them once they are asleep. The kids each have a bunk... with storage of their own and a DVD player mounted above their head.  I love that they have their own space!
