The Trench

The full moon brought in a HUGE tide pool overnight.  Sammy loved playing in the warm water while Scott and Tyler set out to dig a trench to drain it.  It started as a small trench maybe 4 inches wide... but the force of gravity and erosion made that trench grow and grow.  It was VERY successful in draining the tide pool and they received lots of comments from strangers along the beach.  The lifeguard even offered a full size shovel to finish the job.
