Flying Down

Sammy was up, dressed and had her shoes on by 7:3am.  Only trouble was we didn't need to leave for airport until 10:00 am.  I tried everything to stall but the house was clean and I didn't want the kids to get into things so as soon as I was ready and the final steps complete, we left the house.  I drove the long was to the airport, down 28th Street and stopped twice for a coffee or snack.

Getting through security was smooth.  Both kids are just so excited to fly that they were more than cooperative.

We had only 50 minutes in Atlanta and needed to switch two concourses and get lunch.  But the kids were troopers.  Sammy had only a bit of trouble on each flight.

Tyler made a new friend on the flight down.  It was so sweet to hear him share about himself.  They talked about vacation, airplanes and even school work.  The gentlemen was SUPER sweet and even switched seats so Tyler could look out the window.

Scott, Roger and Gretchen picked us up at the airport at 4:00 pm.  The kids were still smiling and I took a giant sigh of relief.  Looking forward to getting settled at the condo.
