Its been a few days now since we've returned home. Those days have given me time to look back on the highlights of our trip and each time I smile.
I've always said that being close to the ocean helps me to self-reflect. When the noise and busyness of life is blocked, its easy to see clearly. It allowed me remember who I am and what I value most.
That's what I will remember most from this trip... waking up early to watch a Barbie movie with Sammy, walking and talking with Tyler on the sidewalk in town, snuggling on the verandah, playing in the water... just being ourselves, laughing and feeling accepted and loved. As I look back now, those are the memories that stand out... not the beach or pool or sun... its the love I can see in the pictures.
Thanks for a great trip again this year. I continue to be impressed by your excitement and willingness (most of the time) to try new things. I cannot wait for our next adventure!
